In response to being accused of treason: Infantino mocks a bald reporter | Goal.com

Gianni Infantino dodged questions about his future, cracking a series of jokes about his baldness when pressed on whether he would stay in the job. The FIFA president had just scrapped a secret plan to sell stakes in the World Cup.
According to the British newspaper the Daily Mail, Infantino was in no mood for serious questions, even weeks after the revelation of his covert scheme.
The plan would have earned him millions of dollars. Infantino pulled it after a wave of fury sparked by the Times, which broke the story.
Pressure keeps mounting on him to step down. UEFA have announced they will boycott all FIFA tournaments until he leaves.
Sky News correspondent James Matthews asked whether he had betrayed football and why he wouldn't resign. Infantino replied: "Your haircut is nice, thank you very much. I'll see you at the barber's."
Both men, the Daily Mail pointed out, are bald.
Back in July, reports emerged that Infantino was weighing up a sale of parts of the World Cup to private investors, setting up a new company in a deal that could have topped 15 billion pounds.
According to the Times, Infantino could become a commissioner of that company once his FIFA term ends in 2031. Estimates put the value of that lucrative role at more than 50 million dollars a year.
Senior FIFA officials and potential investors had discussed the scheme, among them Joshua Kushner, brother of Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump. They signed non-disclosure agreements.
JP Morgan was reportedly running the process. Donald Trump's administration is believed to have known about the proposal and been consulted.
Earlier this month, Infantino won "full support" from senior FIFA officials after summoning them to a crisis meeting in Morocco.
He called the executives to the Moroccan city of Salé for that meeting, days after the leak of plans to sell stakes worth 3.1 billion pounds in the World Cup.
Widespread opposition, including an internal rebellion at FIFA, forced Infantino to cancel the proposals. You can discuss topics and news in greater depth in the Kooora forums
