Moroccan striker Youssef El-Nassiri, who plies his trade for Al-Ittihad Jeddah, has finally rediscovered his goalscoring touch by netting a brace—his first in roughly six months.
Al-Nusairi struck twice for Al-Ittihad against Neom on Wednesday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, in the 29th round of the Roshen League.
Trailing 2-0, the visitors pulled one back in the 38th minute when the striker ran clear and slotted the ball past the advancing Neom goalkeeper.
Just before the interval, the Moroccan striker equalised, finishing calmly in another one-on-one to claim his second goal of the match and his side’s second.
It was his first brace for the club since arriving from Fenerbahce during the January transfer window.
This was his first brace in roughly six months, dating back to his double against Gaziantep on 27 October in the tenth round of the Turkish league.
Overall, the 28-year-old has now scored six goals for Al-Ittihad in all competitions, and four in the Saudi Pro League.
